Baby it's cold outside and we could all use some warm recipes to help get us through these chilly months! We had a great turnout for recipes last year when we shared so please share some more in the comment section to help get us in the cooking mood!
Chicken and Veggie Stew- This is super easy and will make your house smell wonderful! In the am, put 6 cans of cream of celery soup in crock pot (I use a mix of low fat and regular). Add two packages of mixed veggies and a few boneless, skinless chicken breasts (3-5). Let cook all day. You can serve this over rice or just as is.
Colorado's Denver Post Pot Roast- In the am, brown up a small chuck roast (or whatever kind of meat you usually use in your pot roast:)). Add to a crock pot with two onions cut into fourths and 5 cans of cream of celery soup. Again, the lowfat or regular will work. Sprinkle some black pepper over the top for flavor. Cook for about 4 hours then add 4 quartered potatoes and a bag of baby carrots. Cook for about 4 more hours or until veggies are soft. This is one of our favorite pot roast recipes!
